Derwin Davis, Sr. was a main charatcer in The Game from seasons 1-5, but made a guest appearance in the sixth season premiere. He was portrayed by Pooch Hall. He is Melanie's husband, Janay's ex-boyfriend, and DJ's father. He was also a wide receiver for the San Diego Sabers.
Biography
Derwin was Melanie's boyfriend in season 1 until he had a affair with Drew Sidora and Melanie breaks off the relationship. In the season 2 finale, Derwin findsh?damian richardson i love you too out that his ex-girlfriend is pregnant. In the season 3 finale, Derwin's son is born and he and Melanie get married in a private ceremony. In the season 4 premiere, there are some questions regarding if Derwin, Jr. is Derwin's son as Melanie swaps DJ and gives him a DNA test after finding out that Derwin is indeed the father of Derwin after Melanie's friend scans the test a couple more times. Derwin has also become a superstar player and also has endorsement deals with Nike, and becoming the face of the Sabers organization. In season 6, Derwin is traded to Baltimore for Byrce to be on the Sabers, this leads Derwin to get in a scuffle with Bryce. But this trade will allow Derwin to be with Melanie, during her resdiency.
